How to find... Samarès Methodist Church

The Most Southerly Christian Congregation in the British Isles.

How to travel to Samares; 

    If you come by car then take the Coast road from St. Helier to Gorey (going East) and you will find us on the left before Green Island car park (which is down a small lane to the right) about one mile from town. You can park at La Mare car park (for Eastern Good Companions club) or Green Island or on the coast road for a meeting at the church. Don't forget to leave parking lights on for the coast road if it is an evening event  you are attending.

    If you come by bus then take Route 1 from the Weighbridge and just ask for Avalon/Green Island.

    If you walk from St. Helier it will take about 30 minutes.

Although our congregation finds its home in the Southernmost Church Building in the British Isles,
we're clear that Religious Places are nothing like as important as a Personal Relationship
with God through Jesus, His Son. We've discovered that Jesus Christ isn't just a long dead religious teacher -
